SO. CRISPY. Chicken was very well seasoned, and very moist/juicy (even the chicken breast). Wasn't drenched in oil. With the first bite I was impressed. This is what KFC thinks their chicken tastes like. 100% would come again.

Went for breakfast with a friend this morning (feb 17th). Thought we would try it out since they started doing breakfast. Gotta say it was very good, great portions, very good service. I would highly recommend John’s
Hands down the best fried chicken I have ever had! I can’t describe how good their food is. On top of that, the owners are the kindest, most generous people I have ever encountered at a restaurant. Now I understand the hype! 11/10
One of the best crunchy fried chicken I’ve had and I’m a big fried chicken lover. The chicken was freshly cooked, tender, and juicy. It wasn’t too spicy either. The fries were tasty and hot as well (I think they’re Cavendish fries which is one my favourite fries). Great lunch specials and was quickly made. Friendly staff too! This is way better better than KFC and probably Popeyes too. The chicken reminds me of Korean fried chicken! Go check this place out and plus it’s always great to support a local joint too.
1st of all whos Jon? I’m so curious! Did I drive over 1 hour to try their chicken? Yes I did. Was it worth it? Absolutely. I was actually very surprised that I really really really liked their chicken. Especially their popcorn chicken!!! So delicious. Got lucky to snag something off their Happy Hour menu: I got 3 random pieces for 6 and, they were so sweet; they ended up giving me 4 hehe. Look, I’m not a deep fried kinda gal, but these are “unsharable” they’re just too good! Highly recommend trying this place out regardless if you do or don’t like fried chicken because there’s a good chance you’ll love it. PS, the owners are so lovely and friendly thank you for your kindness and beautiful smiles. The place was clean, no sticky tables (thank goodness) and bathrooms were clean too.
I've been coming here ever since I was a kid. I mainly used to get chicken burgers in the past, but recently my favourite dish would be the boneless sweet chilli chicken. I would highly recommend John's Fried Chicken.
Incredible fried chicken made fresh to order. I thought this would I be like oh so many crummy kfc knockoffs but boy, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Their chicken is incredible. Such a delicate light and crisp batter that’s actually a little reminiscent of tempura. If you’re looking for some good fried chicken you owe it to yourself to try this place out! Update** tried a few more of the menus items and they did not disappoint, I especially recommend their chicken and vegetable dumplings!
